Any Economical Way to Trade Stocks using NT8?

Last time i tried to trade Stocks using NT8 and Interactive Brokers i realised that there was no economical way to do it.

The charts would not load quickly enough using the Interactive Brokers data feed.
The only option was to purchase a feed from Kinetick which was $200 per month for L2 all 3 Exhanges.

I kinda abandoned it,I could not commit to another 200 usd expenses.

Is there any change to this, now in 2024?

    Hello gaz0001,

    Thank you for the message.

Considering that you joined the NinjaTrader Forum in 2020, I have not been made aware of any changes of how Interactive Brokers handles and treats its historical data since then.
You are welcome to test it for yourself, however, I am not aware of any major changes in functionality or API between the two that would imply that anything would be significantly different than it was.

You could also reach out to Interactive Broker's support team directly and ask if they have made any changes to how they provide data to 3rd party platforms like NinjaTrader since the last time you have used them.

If you do want to connect with an Interactive Brokers account, you would need to have the "Multi-broker add-on" active, and then use the specific version of Trader Workstation or IB Gateway from the Connection guide below.

      Thanks for the reply Clayton.

No nothing has changed with regards to the IB Data pacing.
That is still off the cards.

Anything changed on Ninjas end or data provider side?

Any technique to use another brokers data feed for cheap or any new providers offering stock data for reasonable price?

        Hello gaz0001,

        Thank you for the update.

Unfortunately, no or I would have included that in my first response.
