You will notice that in the two examples, The imported historical data is 4 hours behind. Another interesting thing is I created an instrument trading hours to try and offset this time difference, and it worked for the chart, but completely ignored it on the backtest. When I uploaded the data I used Eastern Time, the data is from eastern time, and my computer and nt8 are all set to Eastern time. I have 0 clue why this is happening. When I opened the txt file, the data clearly shows in the file the correct price at the correct time. It has something to do with my ninjatrader and would love some advice.

Historical Data Dates Not Correct After Upload
Hello. I just recently bought historical tick data from Kibot for NQ. I bought a tick data package that does not contain ask and bid prices. The tick data currently is in the format "20241001 000002;20284.25;1". The problem I am now running into is the data that I bought is appearing 4 hours prior to the times I have on my charts that I know are coming from a broker.

Hello LushTD,
Thank you for reaching out.
Generally, when we see the behavior you describe, it is because the user's PC clock is out of sync.
Before proceeding with more troubleshooting, let's synchronize the PC clock to see if the problem persists afterwards.
You may use the steps below to sync your PC's internal clock that NinjaTrader's Charts use for its timestamps.- Shutdown NinjaTrader
- Right-click on the clock in the lower-right corner of your desktop
- Select "Adjust date and time"
For Windows 10, select 'Date, Time, and regional formatting' > 'Additional date, time, and regional settings' > 'Set the time and date'- Select the 'Internet Time' tab at the top
- Set the server to time.nist.gov and click "Update".
- If the message that appears says successful your PC clock should now be updated.
- If not, select a different server from the Server: drop-down and try again (repeat until one of the servers is successful)
After updating the PC clock, reopen NinjaTrader, then right-click in the Chart and select "Reload All Historical Data".
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance or if you continue to experience this behavior.Erick P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
