Popup Notices

How can we change what notices popup and which do not, stopping/suppressing select notice types, disabling select notice types, repositioning where the popups come up on the screen?

This notice is because we set the account to not allow more than 1 contract but I don't want to see the notice. I would like it to just not allow with no notice disruption popup to show. Just simply not allow more than 1 contract and that is it. Would like to know the other things above too while we are at it on this though for other notices and options we have?

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately NinjaTrader does not support direct suppression of the default UI notifications within the main desktop platform interface.

While you have a Risk template applied, you will get risk based notifications.

There is a real of NinjaScript for further modification of platform files and elements.

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately we have not seen or are aware if anyone has been able to create script that suppresses or modifies this type of platform function.

However, I would suggest searching the user ecosystem for custom NinjaScripts that may accomplish the same goal or closely resemble the indicators your have mentioned;

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:
Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK
