I would like to use NinjaTrader Desktop as a replacement for a trading app that has been removed from the market. Now I'm trying to figure out what I need to pay for it. Ideally, I would like to use NinjaTrader as a standalone app without a trading account and instead trade through Interactive Brokers while sourcing data from eSignal. Is this possible, and what are the costs associated with using NinjaTrader in this case? My attempt to clarify this question via the support email address has failed due to completely contradictory answers from the AI bot."

Thank you for the message.

If you wanted to use Interactive Brokers within NinjaTrader while using eSignal as the data provider:

1. You would sign up for a NinjaTrader Username so that you can use it to sign into the website and platform:

2. You would need to subscribe to the Multi-broker add-on. This is the only monthly fee you would have to pay to NinjaTrader to use everything as described so far:

3. From here, you could download NinjaTrader and set it up to connect to both Interactive Brokers and eSignal

4. Finally, you would want to force NinjaTrader to use the Real-time and Historical data coming from eSignal by defining the "Preferred provider" to ensure the data is coming from there.
