Can I add a trailing stop loss to an already open position?

I've noticed in some other platforms that I can create a trailing stop loss after I open a position. In Ninjatrader 8, the only way I know to establish an auto trailing stop loss is through an ATM strategy when I am opening the position. Is there a way I can add a trailing stop loss to an already open position?

Thank you for using NinjaTrader.

You can definitely add an ATM strategy to an existing position directly from the Control Center.

Go to the 'Positions' tab, locate the active position > right click and select 'Apply ATM Strategy'.


From here, you'll be able to select from a list of templates that would have created beforehand. For more information, please visit the following page:
