Problem setting up chart

Dear Ninjatrader community/Team,

when I want to open a chart it does not work. Here a small summary what i did so far:

1.I download recent NT and installed it.
2. Created a sim account and added fictive 1000usd
3. Klicked on "new" on the top, then on chart
4. NT asks me about the time frame, candlestick settings etc. (screenshot attached)
5. I apply and the chart opens up in a new tab. I see the name on the bottom left but the window is empty (screenshot attached)

This happens for all charts i try to open.

Where do I do a mistake?

Thank you for the message.

You would want to sign back into the NinjaTrader Dashboard and sign up for a free 2 Week Demo of NinjaTrader that would come with real-time data.

After signing up, restart NinjaTrader and sign back in.

• Then, in the connections menu, click on the "Simulation" connection and then wait for the light to turn green.

If instead you don't see that, but see a configure button in the corner:

• Click the configure button > Double-click "NinjaTrader" in the 'Available' list
• Enter the same Username/Password you used to open the platform
• Make sure the Account type is set to "Simulation" > Click OK
  • Now, go to the Connections menu and click on the new connection you just made to connect. Once it is green the charts should load in.
