    Can't Save Strategy Analyzer Properties

Every time I reopen the strategy analyzer I have to reset the properties I prefer to see. Is there anyway to keep them saved as I want them? I was hoping saving the template would do it but it does not.

    Hello steegee,

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

In the properties, you have to select the strategy that you created a template for before actually applying a template.

Once you click on 'template' you'll see the previously created template that you can then 'load'.

Please let us know if there's anything else we can assist with!

Hey thanks for the reply @NinjaTrader_LuisH You have the right side column shown, Im wanting to keep the top horizontal up top.

When you start up the analyzer and run a test, this is the stock settings

I save the template. When I close out and go back later the columns are back to stock like the first picture.

Itd be nice if those were part of the saving in templates.

        Hello steegee,

Which 'display' method is this? I'd like to test it on my end.

        Thank you!

Im not sure. I open the strategy analyzer/ select the strategy/ enter the parameters/ run backtest or optimizer/ right click and select properties/ under Results Column click checkboxes for any or all of them/ save the template/ save backtest results/ exit Strategy Analyzer

I have to go to Properties/Results Column and select the check boxes I want every time.

Does this make sense? Thanks for the help

            Hello steegee,

I believe you might be looking at the 'log' section for the Strategy Analyzer, but not entirely sure.

Please email in to clientservices@ninjatrader[dot]com with 'ATTN LUIS' in the subject line, so I can take a closer look at this item with you.

Also, do include the direct URL to this forum post, so I can refer to our original conversation.

            Thank you!
