Can't connect to data provider...Please Help

Hi,

For some reason I am no longer able to connect to data. When I try logging in or connecting, I get the warning "My Continuum: Trader is not enabled to use Ninja Trader - CQG Trader. Contact your FCM. (Login failed)." I have a lifetime license (multibroker) with NinjaTrader.

Please help.

Thank you for your inquiry.

The error may be due to an incorrect parameter in your configured connection settings.

First, please ensure that you are configuring a generic "Continuum" connection for GFF under the Available connections, not the NinjaTrader Continuum option.

Then, please try navigating to Control Center>Connections>Configure>My Continuum and ensure that the Web API checkbox is checked. Please also make sure that the "Connect on startup" box is unchecked.

Your broker may have enabled an API setting on your account, which would require this option to be checked in order to connect.

We have received a few reports of this error, so I would highly recommend contacting your broker GFF directly to determine whether any further enablements need to be made on their end for access.

If that does not resolve the issue, please email your log and trace files to clientservices[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com so that we can further investigate. Please put "ATTN SEV Case# 04620352" in the subject line so that I can find it.
