New Noob here, trying to open up charts with drawing!

Hello Traders, I am fairly new to Ninja Trader. I want to open a chart that I have saved, but how do I do that? I do save workspace, and if I go to a new chart and load a template with an instrument that I want to trade, I lose all the drawings. please help me what I am doing wrong.

Thank you for reaching out.

The only way to have Drawings copied across all Charts, if they are all charts of the same instrument, and the Drawings are set to Global:

To enable a Global Drawing Object:

1. Apply a Drawing Object to the chart

2. Access the Drawing Object's properties from the Drawing Objects dialogue

3. Locate the "Attach to" drop down menu and select "Instrument name" (All charts)

The Drawing Object will now be applied to all charts for that specific instrument as well as any new charts opened for that instrument.

(If after doing this you still do not see the Global drawings, Right click on the affected Chart and go to Data Series. Then enable the "Show Global Draw Objects" settings)




Global Drawing Objects are stored even when a chart of the instrument is not open.
