    Positions doesnt show up in rithmic

    I have connected everything correctly to ninjatrader but I cant see my closed or open positions in rithmic

    Thank you for the message.

    If you are referring to the R|Trader Pro platform, then you need to reach out to your evaluation provider and ask them for further help and information on using that platform.
    • This is a piece of software made by another company so NinjaTrader is very limited with our support on this.
    • We can help a user select the correct settings before connecting, but that is about it. From there, you would have to reach out to the Evaluation Provider for further help and information.

    If you are referring to being able to see the trades in NinjaTrader, please make sure you are using the most current version of NinjaTrader and then rename the database file to refresh it and ensure it isn't holding any old/corrupted values.

    1. Please follow the steps below to update to the most recent version of NinjaTrader 8, version 8.1.3.1:
    • Login into your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard
    • Click "Download" in the bottom left-hand corner of the sidebar
    • Select "Download" in the "Most Recent Release" section
    • Once the installation is downloaded, ensure any previous version of NinjaTrader is closed before running the installation package.
    2. After updating, please use the following steps to rename the database file so NinjaTrader automatically creates a new one:3. After completing the update and renaming the database, you can log into the platform using the same username and password as your NinjaTrader Account Dashboard.
    • Note: Updating NinjaTrader Desktop will not affect any custom configurations, workspaces, or add-ons.
    • A visual walkthrough of the update process may be found here in our Help Center.

    From here, you should be able to connect to the evaluation account, place orders, and they appear within the platform.

      Its only showing my sim101 account not my eval account.

      I dont have a license with ninjatrader I use it via tradovate could this be the reason?

        Thank you for the update.

        Please remember that the forum is publicly facing so I have to be vague here and cannot share any private information that is too specific to your backend settings.

        I was able to find your NinjaTrader information from the Email you used to sign up for the Forum.
        • We added the Evaluation Entitlement to your NinjaTrader Google Sign-in. Please restart NinjaTrader and use that to open the platform moving forward.
        • If you want you can convert this to a normal Username/Password combination so you can use those to sign in moving forward

        The "Evaluation (Rithmic)" entitlement isn't needed to see a Tradovate-based Evaluation account. We still added it to your Username either way.


        After signing in with the steps above, click to connect to your evaluation account and you should see the account.

        If you are still not seeing the account, please use the following steps to send your log and trace files to the support team directly from your NinjaTrader Platform so we may investigate this behavior further:
        • Within NinjaTrader, go to the Control Center > Help > Email Support...
        • To: Set this to "Platform Technical Support"
        • Subject: Copy and paste the Forum URL
        • Attach: Attach a file, picture, or compressed file to share multiple files/pictures
        • Body: Include any other information you would like to share on the situation
        • Make sure 'Log and Trace files' is checked to include the requested files
          • Send the email

              Thank you for the update.

              You would need to purchase the Order Flow + add-on under your NinjaTrader Username instead of the other one.
              If the Order Flow + you currently have is part of a free package from an Evaluation Provider, then they were intending for it to be used with them. So that is why it isn't added to the overall NinjaTrader Username where it would be given to all connections for free.

                  Thank you for the update.

                  As I previously said, you would need to purchase the Order Flow + add-on under your NinjaTrader Username instead of the other one.
                  So, stop paying for the plugin under your Tradovate username and instead purchase it under the NinjaTrader Username that is being used to sign in and open the platform now.
