data box vs mouse wheel ?

I think I am looking for a code snippet to control the mouse wheel display of an indicator, but perhaps this is more of a workspace-options configuration issue. Moderators, please move this post to the appropriate section as needed. I want to see the ATR for a bar when I rollover that bar and press my mouse wheel. "Display in databox" is checked for ATR. I have ATR in the top position of my selected indicator list, and it is the first indicator that shows below price and volume in the data box when I click the data box icon from the chart menu. The ATR Value does not show in the abbreviated data box that displays when I press my mouse wheel. I've tried this with the indicator overlaid on panel one and also as an independent panel. Hmmmn. I have an EMA overlaid on panel 1 that does show when the mouse wheel is pressed. I don't yet see (or understand) any code in the EMA indicator script that might be controlling that.. Any resources you can point me to will be appreciated.

Hello Berry Trader,

The ATR indicator is added to a separate panel by default. You would need to middle mouse click in that panel to see indicator values in that panel.

You could also choose to move the indicator to Panel 1 in the indicator properties window, using the Scale justification overlay, if you would like to see the data values and ATR indicator value in the same panel.

Thanks Chelsea, using the mousewheel on the separate indicator panel is a good work around for me.
