Market replay not printing the chart correctly?

    Hello,

When using the market replay data function, I end up getting charts like the one on the left.
But if I skip forward say 1 hour, then it will print that 1 hour period normally(not full of gaps/lacking tails).

Does anyone know what cause this and how I can solve this problem?
Second photo is showing you what I get when I skip forward instead of playing out the chart.

    Thank you

    Hello Coul_as_a_Ghoul ,

    Thank you for your post.

What kind of Chart type are you using?

I have seen this behavior generally with exteranl/custom chart settings.

We would have to determine the configuration of the chart as well as the data source you are using.

    First, disconnect all active connections.

-Go to Connections -> and disconnect all green connections.

    Next, open a new workspace.

-Go to Workspaces -> new -> and create a blank workspace.

Now please create the following graph to use for testing. This removes many variables to ensure that nothing prevents the chart from working as expected:
    • Go to Control Center > New > Chart.
    • Select and instrument you have download Market Replay data for
    • Make a 1 minute chart
    • Set the 'Days to load' to a sufficient amount.
    • Make sure the 'Template' in the upper right corner is set to "< None >".
    • Set the Timeframe > Trading Hours > To "Default 24x7".
    • Click OK to create the chart
    • Now connect to the Playback-> Market Replay
    • Does the chart load as expected?
      • Is the historical data displayed and does it come in with gaps?
      • Do you need to also keep refreshing this Chart?
        • If this chart has loaded and works as expected, how does it differ from the other chart?

We look forward to your reply.

      Thank you,
      I'm using NinjaTraders feed.
Chart type, 5 minute ES, the standard chart but with some indicators.I may have changed the trading hours as I was trying to load only the regular trading hour bars.

Anyway, I followed your instructions and the chart is now printing normally.
      So thank you for that.
What option can I choose so it only print the regular trading hour bars, I don't want the globex bars to print on the chart.

      Thanks again

        Hello Coul_as_a_Ghoul ,

        Thank you for your message.

In this case, you can change the Data Series:
        • Timeframe > Trading Hours > To "use intrument settings" or "CME US Index Futures RTH".
Your chart should still load properly.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
