    Tools > Instruments > Indexes Won't pull up

    Hi, I am trying to add VXN as an instrument. Well I did that.. but I cannot get the Index to load in the drop down. It only selects futures. Any idea how to fix this?

    Thank you for posting.

    Can you please attach a screenshot of the instrument settings you have entered so I may look into this further.
    To capture a screenshot I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.
    Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.

      I can't pull it back up but this is what I typed in,

      I can't select anything other than futures in this screen


      So then when I go to instrument list to add it it doesn't find it even though I have Index selected

        I have tested this on my end and cannot reproduce this behavior. Can you please delete the current VXN instrument->Restart NinjaTrader then add the instrument again and let me know if the issue persists.

          It won't even let me pull it up because its not recognizing the Index. Its only pulling up Futures

            To delete the current instrument please go to Tools->Instruments->Select VXN within the list->Click remove->Restart NinjaTrader then add the instrument again and let me know if the issue persists.

              That isn't it. Maybe I should post a new forum thread that has a subject line more specific to my problem. I cannot access any instruments other that futures instruments. There is no drop down option. Please refer to my second screen shot

                So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".
