    autorollover notification

    Hello,
    the attached message appears every day. When I accept the auto rollover and click "done" it shouldn´t appear the next day.

    I was waiting some days before I do the question but it goes on every day.

    Hello Tony,

    Thank you for the message.

    This normally means there is an add-on, strategy, or indicator within the workspace that has the old contract in it and will need to be manually rolled over.
    • From here, click through every window and indicator in the workspace and find the old/expired contract and manually roll it over.
    • After doing so, remember to save the workspace.

    If the behavior continues, you could make a completely new/empty workspace. Then Save it and restart NinjaTrader to see if the message still appears.
    • This would verify if it was specific to the workspace, or if it was happening in general.
    • If it was happening in general, please let us know and we will provide further steps and information.

      Hello,

      thank you for your reply.
      Referring to your instructions I opened a new - empty - workspace. Then I closed my current workspace. Then I closed NT and saving the new workspace (I didnt change anything, still empty). Then restarting NT. I have the empty workspace, not yet connected to continuum and I have the same message with autorollover notification as before..."ES 09-24....12-24 and update is checked as always"

      What to do now please?

        Hello Tony,

        Thank you for the update.

        Please try renaming the Config file:
        • Close NinjaTrader
        • Go to the Documents Folder > NinjaTrader 8
        • Config > Click this file > Rename it to "Config Old" > Click off of it to save the name change
        • Now, reopen NinjaTrader and test if the Auto Rollover Notification is still showing

        If the notification is still showing, please use the following steps to rename the database file so NinjaTrader automatically creates a new one:Reopen NinjaTrader again and test if the Auto Rollover Notification is still showing.

          Hello,

          thank you for your reply. With config it was not resolved After renaming db it seems to be ok now and the message does not appear again when starting NT.

            correction: message is there again even when starting NT with an empty workspace without any chart.

              I would think this behavior should be resolved after the steps above.

              Please use the following steps to send your log and trace files to the support team directly from your NinjaTrader Platform so we may investigate this behavior further:
              • Within NinjaTrader, go to the Control Center > Help > Email Support...
              • To: Set this to "Platform Technical Support"
              • Subject: Copy and paste the Forum URL
              • Attach: Attach a file, picture, or compressed file to share multiple files/pictures
              • Body: Include any other information you would like to share on the situation
              • Make sure 'Log and Trace files' is checked to include the requested files
                • Send the email
