Platform Crashed, Trying to Salvage data history

Hello,

My NinjaTrader platform completely crashed due to some corrupt files. Now when I login and try to backtest there is no historical data. How do I go through the folders and import the old data to the new NinjaTrader files?

Thank you for posting.

To clarify did you rename you NinjaTrader 8 folder? If so if you go to the old NinjaTrader 8 folder that was renamed day, minute and tick data is stored in NinjaTrader 8->db folder. Keep in mind if you are copying this data to the new directory please close NinjaTrader then once completed open NinjaTrader once again.

Hello,

You can simply move the old day, minute and tick folders to the new directory. Prior to moving the old folders you can delete the current folders located in the new directory that were created.
