turn off "order submitted" sound?

I'd rather Development got this sort of stuff right from the outset. I had a niggling feeling (Post #4) there was a way to do this because I don't have the sounds playing, haven't deleted sound files nor disabled so I must have fixed it - couldn't recall how earlier, but now reminded it was indeed per #carnitron post #14. There may already be another thread on the same subject iirc, waste of time and resources (Users' time is always treated as having zero-value and an unlimited resource by Ninja).
Surprisingly, the words 'expected behaviour' haven't yet appeared.....!
Just another classic #NinjaDevelopment and #NinjaSupport combination of how not to do things!

Yeah, I had the same experience, having fixed it in the past, but not remembering how, lol. What I appear to have done is replace the NT8 sounds I wanted to go away with files of the same name, but containing silence. So that's another option. You can just save off the originals with a .bak extension. But the dialog does seem to work, so that seems like the preferred approach. I think the "x" might be throwing people for a loop, along with the fact that the sound file names don't match what is being said in some cases.
