    Hi Valerius.Lucius,

ninZa.co has an indicator called "Superior Volume" that can do this.

ninZa.co's Superior Volume is a useful NinjaTrader volume spike alert and a powerful volume analyzer that identifies important bullish/bearish volumes.

For more details, don't hesitate to get in touch with the support team: https://ninza.co/contact

    Regards,
    William

      Hello Valerius.Lucius,

      Thank you for posting.

You would first need to add a stand alone volume indicator to your chart such as VOL. Next you can right click in your chart->Alerts and configure the alert for that specific indicator using the conditions referenced in the attached screenshot.

We have a video publicly available at the link below that goes over Alerts.I have also provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over configuring Alerts within NinjaTrader 8:Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

I set it up according to the instructions, but I can't activate the alert. A notification appears: you must have at least one alert condition.

Can you please attach a screenshot of your Alert settings so I may look into this further. To capture a screenshot I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.

It seems to be set, but there is no alarm when the volume exceeds 1000. do I have to set the sound extra?

To have a sound played you would need to add Play a sound within your Actions settings of your Alert.

It appears you are basing your condition off a VWAP indicator as opposed to volume. In order to create an alert for volume you would need to add the VOL indicator to your chart then change your Condition to use VOL as referenced in the attached screenshot examples.
