labeled horizontal lines

Good day, I was wondering if NT has an option to allow us to label horizontal lines? I know this is common in most charting software, but I can't seem to find it here. I've attached a pic as an example of what I am seeking. Thanks! GBS

Thank you very much for reaching out.

Unfortunately this is not possible as a native/default function in NinjaTrader 8.

However, I would suggest searching the user ecosystem for custom NinjaScripts that may accomplish the same goal or closely resemble the Labeled lines you have mentioned;

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:
Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Hi Eric.
Thank you for your response. I tried the ecosystem you mentioned and there doesn't seem to be a alternative there.

I researched this a bit before submitting my question and I know this request has been made several times. This is a basic function available on most software applications. NT has always been a great program, but I don't understand why this couldn't be coded and added to an update so it could be offred in a native format. Please forward this suggestion to the appropriate group for consideration. It seems like an easy life that might prevent people from going to TradingView or another competitor. Thanks! GBS

AndyM. Thanks for the information Andy. I do appreciat the suggestion! For what it's worth I downloaded and imported the script only to have it freeze a chart so I unstalled it. Hopefully NT will add this as it is standard in many other charting applications.
