    Unable to export historical data for indices

    I'm trying to do a data export on $SP500 and getting an exception. I tried deleting all of the historical data and downloading again, but keep getting the same error. Is there a work around?

    To rule out that there are issues with your core files/NinjaTrader Installation, I recommend you try a platform repair first:

    To complete a repair, do the following:
    • Shut down NinjaTrader 8
    • Go to your computer's Control Panel > Programs & Features (Note: search for 'Control Panel' to find it within the Windows Start Menu. This will be a different window than the Settings page)
    • Left-click once on NinjaTrader 8 > select 'Repair' above the list of available programs
    • Restart the platform after it finishes repairing, and test for this behavior again.

    If you still get the same error after repairing:

    Please send in your log and trace files so that we may look more into what may be occurring.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Make sure to categorize your request at the top.

    Ensure 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

    If you could also provide the screenshot of what you are seeing, that would be appreciated.
