    Continuous ES contract?

Hello, I'm a new user struggling a bit with the contract change.

I know I can select the SEP or DEC contract. But which one is the continuous? If I select the one just called 'ES' I just get a blank chart.

The DEC contract loads but obviously it only has data for a few days.

    Hello several,

    Thank you for the message.

Continuous contracts are symbolized with the Contract Date of ##-##.
    • So, ES ##-## for example

If you put that in and nothing loads, then your data provider doesn't support Continuous Contracts.

To Roll over the instruments in your platform:
    • Go to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
    • If you see instruments in the list > Click the "Rollover" button > Click OK
      • This should have automatically rolled over the windows in your workspace

If the windows did not automatically roll over:

If you don't want to see the old expired contracts at the top of the list, hover the mouse cursor over the old instrument and press the DEL or Delete key on your keyboard.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.
