The Web Platform and Desktop Platform should perform in very similar ways and speeds when the Desktop Platform hasn't been "weighted down" too far.

If it appears that the Web Platform is faster than the Desktop Platform on your PC, then this would imply that your Desktop Workspace/Platform has been configured and set up in a way that isn't optimal where things could be experiencing delays or falling behind.

The Web Platform has everything calculated on the server side of things so your PC and its local resources and specifications have minimal impact on the Web Platform's ability to run smoothly and handle all of the calculations.

With the Desktop Platform, it depends on your local PC and its resources to be able to calculate everything in real-time that has been set up.

• With the Desktop Platform, it is much easier to create a complex workspace with multiple add-ons and indicators that can be programmed or set up in an inefficient way that can lead to things moving slower or falling behind.

So, I would say both platforms are pretty fast as long as the setup hasn't been pushed too far.

If you do notice your Desktop Platform falling behind, you can always create a new workspace, save and restart NinjaTrader, and then set up the new workspace with the following tips and suggestions in mind:
