Dialog box column widths
I have search for an answer to this but have not found anything. The columns on dialog boxes in Ninja Trader seem to have a mind of their own. They sometimes just set widths that make the data unreadable. This seems to happen any time I try to adjust the width of any column and it is nearly impossible to fix.
Surely I am missing something. Can anyone enlighten me on the trick here?

Hello Denver_Wayne,
Thank you for reaching out.
Is this specifically occuring within the "Positions" tab of the Control Center? Or does it happen across various columns within multiple tabs?
Please note that if you accidentally click and drag one of the column dividers at some point, that might be the starting point here.
Once you touch and drag one, it turns off its "Automatic scaling" if you will and then remains askew after that when you try re-sizing the window.
One thing you can do, is click to open a brand new Positions tab if the columns become inaccessible:
The new Positions tab should start in a Default state. Then you can close the previous tab if you wish.
Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.Erick P.NinjaTrader Customer Service

It seems to occur in any dialog box. It's fine to say "Don't resize columns manually", but sometimes the content is not all visible. I did not accidently click and drag one of the columns. I did it intentionally because in one of the columns the data was not all visible. This should be pretty basic. Columns should be re-sizable. Like every other software program on the planet. Ninja should fix this pronto.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Erick View PostHello Denver_Wayne,

That rant being ranted .... making a new tab once a tab gets messed up is a pretty effective and easy fix and I can live with that.. Thanks for that. I appreciate your taking time to respond.Last edited by Denver_Wayne; 09-05-2024, 08:04 AM.
