How much tick data is available?

I'm trying to backtest a strategy but I'm only able to download until August 23rd? How do I download older tick history?

Thank you for the message.

There is up to 1 year of Historical Tick Data saved on NinjaTrade's Historical Data Servers for most Futures Instruments.

• After that, the data is removed to make space for new data.

If you are connecting to something other than NinjaTrader, NinjaTrader Continuum, or Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage, it is possible your Historical data is coming from that different provider instead and would most likely have different rules or limitations.

• If yes, who are you connecting with?
  • (It sounds like you might be using Kinetick for the data which limits the Historical Tick Data Request during market hours to only 8 days. After 4pm CST, they provide at least 180 days)

Hello, thanks for the response. No I'm only using NinjaTrader. Not connecting anything else. When I disconnect from Simulation - Connect to Playback - Expand Market Data - Download MES at a date later than sometime in June an error message ''There is no market replay data available for the instrument/date" additionally, if I am able to download the data from June, the charts just automatically go to the 22nd of August. The only data that I was both able tp download and have all charts load and play correctly is dates from the end of AUG. Now attempting to download even september market replay data, I can only download but the charts dont update to reflect this date. Only takes me to 22nd AUGUST

Thanks, I'm currently trialing tradingsim and so far so good. Way more quick and easy than ninja traders
