    Window management

Hey, I'm a mac user and bought a PC just to use NT.

Perhaps this question is more specific to the OS but one thing I'm struggling with is how all the NJ Windows are separate. When I click the NT icon in the taskbar, I get a popup of all the open NT windows and I have to select one and it comes top the front. Is there anyway to just click the task bar and all the windows come to the front, rather than me clicking each one individually?

If I'm using NT then click chrome. I don't see an easy way to get back to the screen I was just on with all my NT windows on screen. I have to click each window individually.

    Hello several ,

    Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, the Windows within the Desktop Workspace act independently from each other other.

There is currently not a way within NT8 to maximize/open all minimized application windows.

There may be some Windows Short cuts/Commands that may accomplish this, however, we are not well versed in these fuctions and they vary from Windows 10 - 11.

You could likely find the answer from a publicly available resource, such as a search on Google:

The Web Platform does work as a single tab in your browser, but the user interface is quite different from NT8 Desktop.

Another "work around" is to have your main Charts set to "Always on Top" but then that would cause the Chart Windows to stay open unless mimimized, and supersede all windows you may have on your PC.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.

Can’t recall specifically and not at PC but…..

In Win10, right-click on the NT taskbar icon and you want a Maximize All option in the pop up menu. You *may* have to hold Win key, Alt, Ctrl - can’t remember which but it can be done and it is via right click icon.
Win 11 also, but different keystrokes - someone gave the win11 solution in a thread on here quite recently so try Advanced Search

A way of ‘grouping’ all things Ninja in one ‘workspace’ is to use Windows Virtual Desktops. You can then put Chrome and anything else non-Ninja in one, Ninja in another and instead of min/maxing Windows separately, just leave everything maxed and switch between two desktops. (the non-active virtual desktop doesn’t consume resources running in the background). Again can’t remember how & not at PC - but: you can…..
          Best,

You will have to click each individually, if it is what I am thinking. Can you post a screenshot of your mouse hovering over the icon?

Mac user here too, running on Parallels. It's mind boggling that in 2024 this extremely basic UE issue hasn't been solved (Along with no window snapping? Really...!?). It's so hard for me to fathom.

Anyways, one workaround is to use the Virtual Desktop feature and give MT its own space. It's essentially the same as creating multiple desktops in OSX.
