Connection issues with rithmic

My rithmic opens connects correctly but when trying to connect inside NJ8 i get a error

i went to the NJ8 account page to make sure i had the latest version and i did but i choose 'repair" and tried to download
then got this message

Any help would be appreciated thank you in advance / it can not complete download

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.


This essentially means that the credentials for the connection named 'My Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage' is incorrect and must be resolved.


This can stem from having Rithmic Trader Pro not being opened (if needed), if your credentials are missing or if you did not shut down your platform after a failed attempt to connect.

In additional to credentials, it can also be the system that causes that error. For example if Apex, must choose Apex in the system parameter, or if Bulenox, must choose Paper Trading Chicago, etc.
