Instrument not accepted

Hi guys,
My software vendor requires me to add the instrument ES ##-##.
When I try to add it I get the attached error message.
I am adding it using the above code along with globex as the exchange which I have a valid paid for data feed but it's the error message that is the problem.
For your info - there are many other users of his software that don't have this issue.
Any suggestions would be greatly apprecaited.

Thank you for the message.

Please reach back out to the developer directly and make sure you followed their steps correctly.

Normally ES ##-## would refer to a Continuous contract which wouldn't require you to create any new instruments in the platform.

• Simply type ES ##-## into the Instrument selector.

If you need, you could reset the instruments in the platform and remove any user created instruments in case manually making that messed things up:

• Go to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
• Expand the "Update instruments" section > Check all of the boxes > Click Update and wait for it to un-gray to let you know it is finished
• Now, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to take effect

Unfortunately, the data from NinjaTrader would not be able to support Continuous Contracts.

• Again, I would suggest reaching back out to the developer and asking them what data provider they use to make things work and go from there.
