Error message

Hi,

I am getting the following error message when I am trying to load NT.

NT platform opens after clicking ok but I would like to resolve this issue. Any help please?

Thank you for reaching out.

This error occurs when there are duplicate files in your Ninjatrader 8 document -> Templates -> Risk folder.




In your folders, the files at the end would have the same file name as indicated in the core error message (most likely ending in " - copy")

This can also occur if the "risk" template was manually copied/renamed outside of NinjaTrader 8 instead of inside NinjaTrader 8.

I advise you to close NinjaTrader first, then go through your documents to see if you can find your duplicate risk/commission templates and delete them.

If you get the same error for other folders, such as "Commissions" or "Trading Hours", you will need to do the same for those documents as well.


You can also choose to delete the folders entirely, *if you do not have anything custom created in them.

Then restart Ninjatrader and see if the same error messages appear.
