    Hello Rooskie ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Every Data Provider will calculate and display data very differently which is very likely to lead to differences in Charts like you are seeing. We do not expect this type of instrument to appear the same as other Data Provider's, and this will be true for all instruments at there are many other variables such as latency and rendering time that may often lead to minor differences between multiple Data Providers and users as bars are built in real-time on your charts.

You may read a full overview of how charts are built in real-time here in our NinjaTrader 8 Help Guide - Charting > How Bars Are Built

"Different data feeds produce different charts, especially when using tick-based intervals vs time-based intervals. Market data vendors each employ various methods for tick filtering, throttling, and time stamping. As a result, no data stream is 100% identical and thus can cause subtle differences in charts. Since NinjaTrader supports many of the leading brokerage and data feed technologies, it is highly likely that two traders using NinjaTrader on different data feeds will have minor differences when plotting the same market and time interval."

A couple steps you can try to take to confirm that the data is just different between the 2 providers and not erroneous, is:

    1. Completely Reboot your PC

Then, please restart your NinjaTrader platform and try to connect to market data again.

Once connected, right-click on the chart and select "Reload all historical data"
If the data still isn't loading in, repeat the process above until it connects to a different Historical Data Server and the chart fills in.

    2. You may also clear old historical and cache data by doing the following:
    Shut down NinjaTrader 8
    • Go to the 'Documents/NinjaTrader 8/db' folder on your computer
    • Remove the files within the 'cache', 'day', 'minute', and 'tick' folders
    • Important: Do not remove any other files within the NinjaTrader 8 Documents folder
    • When you restart NinjaTrader 8, you may notice a slightly longer initial load time as all historical data on your charts is re-downloaded.

If the differences are still there, this would confirm that they are just different.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
