    Workspace tabs disappear when reopening ninjatrader

    Hi,

    I have been getting this really strange bug where when I close NT my tabs get closed and I'm forced to restore a previous workspace. If you can see the workspace file sizes they go from 500kb to 44kb like clockwork. I do not close NT in a force close type manner. I press x, it asks if I want to save my workspace, I save it.

    It results in only 1 tab remaining open and all the subsequent tabs being closed.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    To save correctly, be sure to always close NinjaTrader by selecting ONLY the X located at the top right of the Control Center.

    You can also go to Workspaces -> Save as/ Save to save your work as you go.

    Do not close each individual window before saving or you will be saving a blank workspace. DO NOT right click on the NinjaTrader icon inside the Windows taskbar and select Close because Windows may close the tables, etc. before it asks to save your workspace, resulting in a blank workspace.

    When you restart, the platform will automatically re-open your previous Workspace with all of the windows you had open when you last saved.

    *If you have an anti-virus/firewall program installed, you will want to include NinjaTrader to your exception list. You need to exclude the following directories.


    - C:\Program Files (x86)\NinjaTrader 8 or C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 8

    - (My) Documents "NinjaTrader 8


    Even if you have a backup program or auto-backup program, you should pause when you are using NinjaTrader so that you don't have a conflict when you want to save your NinjaTrader files.
