I found that NJ works perfect with the IB Gateway(latest or stable version) but does not work with TWS (latest or stable). When submitting an order while connection to TWS, the connection immediately quits.
The solution is to install the exact version of TWS as indicated on the NJ support page. The problem is this is a much older version of TWS and it has no support for Advanced Charts. Essentially Advanced Charts is TradingView charts inside TWS. Advanced Charts were introduced in TWS the end of 2022.
It would be nice if NJ could update support to a version of TWS that retained essential features, if possible.
