Any way to save the drawings?

My NQ 5min chart got really bad this morning. The candles were showing up above 20k while the price was 18500s. I tried deleting cache but that didn't help. Also tried switching to different minutes/hour/tick. I had to create a new chart and add my template but that was missing the drawings I had. Is there a way to save/recover the drawings for next time something like this happens?

Your reported symptoms are on track of a rendering delay.

A "Rendering Delay" can occur on charts when they are trying to print too much information at once and cannot keep up with the current price. This behavior may be prevalent on charts during periods of high volatility and fast market movement. You may also notice orders filling immediately or being rejected as they are submitted to prices far away from the current market price. Oftentimes, this is caused by 3rd-party add-ons that are not efficiently rendering on your charts.


Of course this is just speculation, we would need you to send your log and trace for us to further investigate.


As far as drawings go, you would want to create a chart template with those drawing attached to them - you can learn more how to create a chart template here:

Thanks for the reply. So I had 2 charts open on NQ, one was 1min and the other was 5min. They both have the same indicators with the 1min having additonal indicators. The 5min chart was the one that wasn't rendering so I don't believe it has to do with the indicators. It does have more drawings as I do like to add level lines on the 5min.

Does the drawings automatically attach to the chart it's drawn in? I checked some of the drawings and they do show they're attached to the 5min. However, when I recreated the chart and loaded the saved template, the drawings did not show, only the indicators did.

I can't get the url you posted to work.. what is the %20 supposed to be replaced with?
