Breakeven trailing stop

Good morning, I am trying to program my stop strategy correctly. Can someone help me out? I have an ATM with a SL at 80 and PT at 255. I want the ATM to move my stop up to breakeven once profit of 40 ticks is hit. Then I want it to move up 40 ticks for every 40 ticks of profit. Does this look correct? I've been running it for an hour and it seems like the stop just keeps moving up at a faster pace than I want it to. Thank you for your help in advance.

Thank you for reaching out.

I believe the issue here is the AutoBreakEven.

Your setting is telling your stop:

"Once 40 tick in profit are hit, move my stop to 84 ticks below entry."

So its moving it 4 ticks below what your initial 80 tick stop loss is set to. (Actually I just tested a -84 break even on my end, and it did not work at all, as it seems to conflict with the rest of the strategy)


To truly break even after 40 ticks in profit, you can leave the "Plus" value as "0"

Then your AutoTrail will take over.

Your AutoTrail is currently telling your Stop:

"Once and additional 80 total ticks in profit are hit, move my stop loss (wherever it is after the break even) to 40 ticks below current market price. And also keep move it up for every additional 1 ticks in profit (Frequency).

You may want to increase your Frequency value if you do not want the stop moved with every tick.
