    Adding Days to Chart Template

The screenshot shows 60min chart with NQ and data series showing EOD breaks on a 24/5 series. I am looking for a way to show the Days of the week in between the dates.
This can be done on TradingView but have not figured a way to do in NT8

    Hello rdtdale,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Currently there is not an option to change the format used for the information displayed in the X-Axis of the chart panel.

However, I would suggest searching the user ecosystem for custom NinjaScripts that may accomplish the same goal:

    Please try searching here:

Trading Indicators | Automated Strategies | Trading Apps | NinjaTrader Ecosystem

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:
Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

    To Import:
    1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
    2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
    3. Select the downloaded .zip file
    4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
    • Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Here is a short video demonstration of the import process:

Thanks for response....really there should be a way to do this using a template. Also this should be a basic feature with NT8...just saying....been using NT for quite some time and still some basic features are not there. Please add this one to future requests.

        Hello rdtdale,

        Thank you for the update.

If you wanted to see all 7 days of the week, then switch to the "Default 24x7" template instead and it will include the other two days.
        • Right-click on the chart > Data series
        • Time frame > Trading hours > Switch to "Default 24x7" > Click OK
          • Right-click on the chart and select "Reload all historical data" to see the changes

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.
