db cache day tick minute folder removal

I am deleting the minute, hour, day, tick folders to improve performance but they are being restored with all the data again. Im using the latest version of ninjatrder. tool options market data get data from server is not selected.

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately you cannot permanently delete all these folders.

When you launch NinjaTrader, the folders are created again, and the Charts you have will re-request historical data and fill the folders again.

Also as new bars form they fill these folders.

Basically clearing those folders, makes sure your platform then is only requesting and storing historical data that only your current Charts need.
