Risk of using a 3rd party indicator

Hi - I am curious what risks exist from installing a 3rd party indicator. I am looking at this labelling tool, but do not know exactly what a malicious actor could do. Any help appreicated.

The script could write malicious files to the computer or download malicious code from the internet.
