Order Handling Options question

Hi--I'm testing the NT/Tradestation email signal connection. I've been finding some differences between the TS execution prices and the NT execution prices, which I would expect. However, what I would like to do is to minimize the differences so I'm looking for recommendation or methods to consider.

1. I'm trying to understand the Submit "as-is" instruction type. Does it provide any advantage to constructing orders more close to the originating TS order?
2. Are there other methods or approaches to consider, including how to write orders in TS, for getting NT and TS more aligned (OCO, etc)?

The order handling settings that can be used are explained in the page linked below however I couldn't comment on if one gives more advantage over another, that would mainly be your preference. It is not documented that one has any more advantage. In regard to executions, if you are comparing NinjaTrader fills on a sim account vs fills on the trad station platform there could be differences there because two different fill engines are being used. For live trades the broker would report the fill price and that should be reflected in NinjaTrader when tradestation sends that information over.

There are no specific guidelines for how to submit orders to tradestation, that would really be up to you and your trading goals as to what order types are used or what settings you use for the tradestation setup. There are some specific requirements for getting the connection set up and the workspace in tradestation, beyond that it would be up to you for what orders are submitted or how you make scripts that may submit orders.
