How to Disassociate .NCD files with Notepad

I thought you could read the .ncd files with notepad. I was wrong. Now I've mistakenly associated .ncd files with notepad.exe. It doesn't seem to be causing a problem. Nothing I tried disassociated the .ncd files. Deleted registry notepad entry. Deleted C drive NT8 folder in C drive Documents, uninstalled, re-installed. Also it has been suggested that there's a "none" option in Windows when changing a file type's association, but the "none" option is not available.

As there is no other program which can open those files I am not aware of a way to clear that setting, you can set it to something else but nothing else will be able to open that file. That won't cause any problems it will just show the notepad icon as the icon for those type of files.
