Because the Schwab (web) API is not streaming real time data it is not what I want. Schwab allows 1 request per second. That 1 second delay can cause losses.
Because Ninja Trader can log into and trade a Schwab Equity account using steaming data like TOS I am thinking there must be a way to use the streaming realtime data for my custom coded bot trader?
I would need to get the equity realtime price, for example SPY/Tesla.
I would need to get the equity's option's price. In the money and out the money options.
Questions for Schwab SPY/Equity options via Ninja :
Q:
Can Ninja get Equity Options real time data?
Q:
Can Ninja trade Schwab Equity options?
If not is this something the developer team is working on and how long will it take to become a reality?
Q:
Is the Schwab data feed that Ninja uses exactly the same as what TOS gets? I assume Ninja is just mimicking TOS as far as the server and data is concerned?
Meaning there should be NO difference between what data TOS and Ninja gets when logging into a Schwab account?
*Note I am NOT talking about futures. I am talking bout Ninja using Schwab for equities.
I am assuming Ninja is not using the Schwab (web) API requesting once per second?
Q:
Because Ninja can use the Schwab data feed is it possible to have a 3rd party app get that tick by tick data in real time from Ninja where I can then process the data and submit orders?
Submit orders either back to Ninja which then sends them to Schwab or submit orders directly from my custom app to Schwab. If need be I could send orders via Schwab API.
Appreciate any insight on this.
As far as I know TOS doesn't really have the ability to do what I want.
