    Can't see all the charts in a wrkspce after switching laptop

    Hi everybody.
    Yesterday, because of a computer problem (a laptop with a wide screen), I bought a new computer (a laptop with a smaller screen). I then simply installed the disk drive from my old computer into the new one.
    Most things work OK, but I do have a problem with the way my workspaces display: one of the workspaces had eight charts, filling the whole screen (old computer), two rows of four screens. Now, when I open this workspace on the new computer, I can only see about six of the eight charts. NinjaTrader recognizes this, issues a suggestion to move the "outside" charts back into the viewable area. This is not an acceptable solution as I can't see what's on those two charts (unless I click on them, bring them to the front, but then I can't see the ones that end up under them, etc...).

    Is there a way to tell NinjaTrader to adjust the workspace to the (new) viewable area? (I understand that all the charts would end up being smaller, but I don't mind, because I don't actually work on the laptop per se: I cast the image onto a larger (external) monitor.

    Try copying the workspace on the old computer to an external usb as saved , then apply to the workspace inside the new Laptop.

      Hi Emma thanks for the response but this does not solve my problem:
      1- I don't have the old computer (nor do I need it)
      2- I have all my workspaces because I simply transferred the hard disk drive from the old computer to the new. I can open all my workspaces, no problem.
      3- the problem is this: the screen on the new computer is smaller than the screen on the old computer. Therefore when I open a (existing) workspace on the new computer, NinjaTrader is only showing me about 80% of what I could see on the old computer.

      What I want to know is this: is there a way for me to tell NinjaTrader "Shrink my workspaces (I use more than one) so that they use the new screen size on this computer". Sort of "Fit to screen".

        #M_ichel - if I have understood your issue correctly there is a Windows keyboard command that will move all Windows inside the Windows Desktop (I.e. your laptop screen). Then, Save your Ninja Workspace and Bob should become your uncle.

          Hello M_chel,

          Thank you for posting.

          Do you see your chart(s) within the taskbar? If so to bring the window into view right mouse click on the chart in the taskbar--> Choose Move-->hit the Right arrow on your keyboard once-->move your mouse-->Left mouse click when the chart is visible on your monitor then repeat these steps to bring other windows back into the viewable screen.

            P R O B L E M S O L V E D !

            Hi everybody. Thanks for the replies. I finally figured out what I have to do:
            1- Turn PC ON.
            2- After signon, Close the cover!
            3- On the MacMini, launch TeamViewer
            As long as I keep the PC's cover CLOSED, I can configure and see all eight charts in that workspace.
