    Moving my account to a different computer

    P R O B L E M S O L V E D (I think)

    Hi everybody.
    Because of a computer problem, I physically moved my hard disk to a new computer.
    It appears that I've kept all my data, except that although I am able to connect to my IBKR account, I cannot choose that account in ChartTrader. I can only choose "SIM101".
    What should I do now?

    Edit 2024-07-28: After much searching, I noticed that the "Global Simulation Mode" parm is ON. I know that it should not be ON. However, it is also grayed out, so I can not turn it OFF.

    I do have a lifetime license.

    2024-07-28 18h25: Continuing my search, I found that the license code started with "@SIM"!!! I changed it for my real license code. I was then able to turn the "Global Simulation Mode" OFF. I was then able to connect to my broker's account and see that account in the "Account" dropdown menu in ChartTrader. In order to test that everything was OK, I took a small (1-contract) position in ES, kept it for 17 seconds, closed with a profit of $58 ($80. CAD). So far so good. We'll see tomorrow when the markets open. The only bummer: all my charts have "DAY" in TIF and "SIM101" in account. I'll have to change these manually. Taking a backup right now. Good night.
