Connection Configuration missing

Using NT8.1.2.1 64-bit
I had the misfortune of dealing with a vendor who has setup a very absurd way of setting up his inidcator/strategy which requires to restore from his backup file to set the whole complex system to work. I first backed up my ninjatrader platform with all boxes checked except the loaded data.. Then I restored from the vendor backup and then restored from my backup.
I guess this is a way to merge his models and configuration with mine.... not clear.

The result is that I get connections as shown in the two attachments and I don't see a way to put my license key and get to connect to my account other than using rithmic data. When I select Live Connection I see my live account with Ninjatrader but I don't see a way to configure data to come from CQG as I had before.
In this moment I see my indicators and strategy plus those of this vendor.

I imagine Ninjatrader may suggest me to reinstall the platform or reset everything and if this is the case I won't be able to use the vendor indicator/strategy and maybe I'll even need to reinstall everything ? That would be a disaster.

I am quite confused. Is there a way to still keep all indicators& strategy but restore connections as it was including the ability to configure them without restarting from scratch?

I also wander, is that of NT8.1 the characteristic of seeing the live account when connecting to the live connection and sim when connecting to simulation? It seems a major change of concept that I didn't have prior the absurd vendor procedure described above.

Thank you for reaching out.

In the latest version of NinjaTrader, to set up multiple connections, you would need to enable "Multi Provider Mode" and then configure the connection.

Once the platform is open, go to "Tools" -> Options -> and make sure that the "Multi Providers" option is enabled.

Also make sure to go to Tools, and uncheck "global simulation mode" if it is checked.

Then you can go to Connections -> configure, and add the Rithmic connection for your evaluation account.
