    Error message with addOn after Ninja Trader reinstalled on new PC

    Hello

    After getting a new PC I have reinstalled the same version of NT (Version 8). Everything works fine.

    Then i tried to resinstall an addon that previously used to work perfectly and I am getting this error message :

    "Unhandled exception: End of Central Directory record could not be found"


    Can you help on this issue ?

    Thank you for the message.

    I am not familiar with this unhandled exception message so I wonder if it is something specific to this add-on.

    From here, please reach back out to the developer of the add-on and ask them if they are familiar with this error and why it is happening along with what needs to be done to resolve it.
    If they are not familiar with it and the behavior continues, we could suggest a random add-on from the User App Share site to download and try importing to test if it works or also gives you the same error message.
    • This would help us verify if the error is happening in general or if it is specific to that one add-on that is being imported.
    • If the behavior continues after that, we could provide the steps to do a completely fresh installation on more time and test if importing the add-on from the User app share is still giving the same error and then go from there.

    Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

      I installed another add-on to see if the error occurred in general, and yes, it gives me the same error message. To help you, I can give you this link on this forum with someone who had the same problem as me, and it was solved

        Is it installed on OneDrive?

          Hello
          Ninja trader is in program files,
          the addon in a dedicated folder (not synced in one drive)

          i even tried after closing one drive and get the same error message

            Addons on NinjaTrader are typically installed in My Documents \ NinjaTrader 8 folder

              But the problem is ninja trader, not the add on. I check this with downloading a random add-on from the User App Share site, but it dindnt work

                I can't put a add on on my ninja trader 8 folder (import), cause I can't import somthing
                The error message : "Unhandled exception: End of Central Directory record could not be found"
