If a limit order is submitted during off hours (between 4 and 5 Central time), which margins would apply?

Thank you for the message.
It would not be possible to submit an order during the 1 hour that the market is halted each day. You would get an order rejection if you tried.
If you would like to open a GTC or GTD order that lives across days, then you would need to ensure you are also holding the Initial margin.
