    Data issues this week July17, 2024?

    On Monday, Tuesday , and today July 15-17, 2024, I have very frequent chart price freezing. Connection shows green. P/L does not update. However I can still exit orders. The chart comes back after a few minutes. This sort thing may happen on occasion but this week it is highly frequent. I made no changes. My other platforms have no issues at that time. My set up is very simple, one chart, one product, one EMA and a Keltner channel. My server is very powerful. I am on version 8.1.2.1 64-bit. My account is with Tradovate but I use NT8.

    I'm having the same issue, but on Ninja Trader Web. Some contracts work fine, others freeze after a certain amount of time. Sometimes they update after a few hours. Been happening all week.

      Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

      We are seeing similar reports of intermittent data issues, our development team is actively working to resolve and implement a fix. In the meantime, I do recommend taking the time to update to the latest version (8.1.3.1) if you haven't done so already.

          Thanks for the post gives me comfort I was not the only one. specifically, I was experiencing a data freeze on my comex products GC HG SI. CME seemed to be working fine.

            No there isn’t
            Many users have asked for one
            Most other providers offer one (along with ability to sign up for alerts when new updates are posted)

              Buenas tardes (Spain 15:02):

              Yo llevo dos día que no se me actualizan los datos. La vela se mueve en diferentes direcciones, pero en la parte inferior del gráfico, donde aparece la hora de la velan, siempre está en el mismo minuto. La única forma para que se actualice el gráfico es dándole *RECARGAR DATOS HISTORICOS*.

              Yo tengo la versión 8.1.3.1

              Espero que puedan dar alguna solución pronto.

                They have this site for status.
                Trade Futures and Commodities on Most Devices and with a Fixed Commission Rate or Unlimited Trading Subscription Fee Option


                However, I've had GC data feed issues for the past three days occurring mid-morning. I've chatted with support and they've confirmed Comex data feed issues both yesterday and today. And nothing has been posted on the above status page for any of the days.
                Very frustrating when they don't want to let us know about issues they are aware of.

                  For anyone having data issues, the only thing that may currently work, is to close down NT and restart it. Since order placement still works, and the system does keep track of the actual price, you can look at other services charts, like TOS or whichever other you may have, and close the position based on that price movement. The price freezing doesn't seem to affect where a position is opened or closed, it just doesn't update where the price is on the chart itself.

                    Hi,

                    I am having similar issues this week. Connection is unstable, freezings, missing information for some candles... It's a total disaster. Glad to see I am not the only one because Ninjatrader support never told me this was a general issue. Almost every day I have a different problem with NT, it's a nightmare...

                        Issue of Comex/GC data feed stopped has occurred again this morning at 826am EST (all other data feeds are fine).
                        This makes four days in a row for me with Comex/GC data feed issues.
                        Ridiculous for a company collecting money from us with no notice of issue existence, status or resolution ETA.

                            Comex data feed came back online about 845am EST.
                            However,
                            It's gone back out again at 937am EST.
                            Pulling my hair out. I'll be looking at possible alternatives to NT this weekend. Suggestions?
                            (I used to be a Tradestation user years ago and didn't have issues like this - will look at going back to it)
