Mimic RTrader Pro Bracket/OCO Setup

Hello all,

I am attempting to setup an ATM to mimic a Bracket/OCO I have setup in RTrader Pro. Below are the details and images to help understand my request.

In Rtrader Pro, I have the following setup for a bracket (image below)

• Bracket Type: Both (Target Only/Stop Only)

• Target Ticks	Target Qty
  20	3
  30	2
  50	1

• Stop Ticks	Stop Qty
  50	6

• Show more option: Stops:
  • Move stop orders to break even+ 19 tickets of profit when last trade price has moved 22 ticks into profit

In NinjaTrader I have the following setup for ATM and Stop Strategy

ATM (seems correct)

	Quantity	Stop Loss	Profit	Stop Strategy
Target 1	3	50	20	6 Contracts
Target 2	2	50	30	6 Contracts
Target 3	1	50	50	6 Contracts

Stop limit for stop loss: enabled

Stop Strategy (not correct)

• Profit trigger: 0 plus 19
• Step

  • Stop Loss	Profit Trigger	Frequency
    50	22	1

Any help with how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

Please note that we are not familiar with how Rithmic Trader Pro handles these orders so making a 1:1 comparison within the NinjaTrader platform is not something that we can offer.


I'll leave the thread open to discussion in the event someone with experience on the Rithmic Trader Pro platform can offer some additional insight.


Can you please share what part of the strategy isn't working within NinjaTrader so far?

The ATM works as expected. The Stop strategy does not work as expected. I expect when the ticks move in my favor to 22 ticks, which is 2 ticks above target 1, for the new stop order to be moved to break even + 19 ticks.

Figured it out. To set it up to match Rithmic Trader Pro's Bracket Stops I would need to do the following:

Stop Strategy

• Auto Breakeven (t)
  • Profit trigger: 32 plus 19

This changes the initial stop to 19 ticks before the current profit position after hitting 32 ticks into profit
