Apex Rithmic and Ninjatrader Continuum

I have been using Apex Rithmic connection in NT 8.1.3.1 by importing the license key provided by the Apex. Now I had opened a brokerage account with Ninjatrader and subscribed to market internals data. Is it possible to use both connections at the same time without subscribing to the CME level 1 data from Ninjatrader?

1. I want to use both connections at the same time
2. Use Apex for live futures (CME) data
3. Use Ninjatrader Continuum for Market Internals data

Since my Apex license key is associated with the NT user name, it's one or the another (Ninja vs Apex). I couldn't get the live CME data as well as the Market Internals at the same time.

Yes, you can use the NinjaTrader Continuum data feed in conjunction with your Apex connection, just be aware that you will need to connect to Apex before your NinjaTrader Continuum connection.

Since you have data for one account and not the other, requesting data if connected to Continuum first will result in an error as seen here:

And I can also trade Apex while getting L2 Data from Continuum?

And since I have the Ninjatrader lifetime license can I also trade Apex and Ninjatrader account at the same time ? (or it is necessary the multibroker license upgrade?)

The idea here is to use your connections in conjunction, they're not meant to replace one another. If you try to trade your Apex account with data from Continuum, you may run into issues when trying to place an order.


Neither a Lifetime license or a Multibroker upgrade will change your ability to connect to your accounts. This would only be relevant if you were looking to use one of the other connections available as seen here:
