IBKR connection issue

Hi,

I am trying to set up a new machine for trading with IBKR. API is set up and I am getting the correct data feed, however I can't load any historical charts past a few days and I also cannot run any back tests. I tried to place an order and it gives me an error message reading "Lost or unable to establish communication with IB TWS/GW" and asks me to verify they are running on the target machine, but at the same time, I can see that the order has been placed anyway on the IBKR side.

Any ideas?

Thank you for posting.

I have seen this reported by other users when running an unsupported version of TWS. You can check what version of TWS you are running in TWS under Help -> About -> Scroll to the Build #.

With the current version of NinjaTrader, it is critical that you use TWS version 10.23.2a. If you are running another version of TWS please uninstall your existing version via the Windows Control Panel, and then install 10.23.2a via the following link:

So... is the Ninjatrader software going to be corrected in the future so we can use it with the latest IB TWS version?
