biometric authentication on mobile app

When I login on the NT mobile app and I try the authentication via fingerprint, I receive the error "Biometric Authentication cancelled".
The first few times after I had enabled that login option it worked, then I started receiving this error, and I'm forced to enter the password everytime. After I've logged in with the password it asks me if I want to enable the biometric authentication, but still the next time I open the app it doesn't work. I tried reinstalling the app and deleting data but nothing worked.

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

If you have a fingerprint reader it is likely you are using an older iOS device. Are there any pending updates that are waiting for you to install?


It is also possible that the actual fingerprint reader is not recognizing your fingerprint as expected.

Hi. I'm using an android device and the app is up-to-date. The point is the fingerprint recognition doesn't even start
