absence of sound

Since I installed Ninja on my new computer I no longer have any sound. The sound on my computer is activated, and in the Ninja options, all alerts are activated. It's very annoying. I've searched everywhere, reinstalled Ninja several times but it still doesn't work. The sound works with all other software.

Thank you for posting.

First go to Tools->Options-Hover over each sound->Select "Choose file"->reselect the sound file for each and be sure they are being selected from C:->Program Files->NinjaTrader 8->sounds folder->Click Ok.

If the issue persists please right click on the speaker in the lower right hand corner of the Windows task bar-->Open Volume Mixer and confirm NinjaTrader and Applications are not currently muted.

If there is nothing muted right click on the speaker again->Select "Troubleshoot sound problems" then once completed reboot your PC and test once again.

I have followed all your recommendations, I have sound on all my software and applications except for NIJA which still does not work.

So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".
