Are Users forced to update to latest version?

I asked this question in an earlier thread where Users were reporting denial of service and a flawed Update Release, and have not received a response from Support.

It seemed to me from what was being reported, that when a new Update is released, Users will no longer be able to use their current version and must update to the latest Version immediately upon release before they are able to continue using the platform.
Could a member of the Support Team please confirm/deny/clarify the situation…..?

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.


Users will not be forced to update to the latest version before moving forward. When the user gets the in product notification that the update is available, they can choose to click on 'skip' if they chose to.
